Operations Lead

We're looking for a driven, collaborative Operations Lead to help guide our production crew and keep things running smoothly — safely, efficiently, and with pride. Whether you're coaching a teammate, solving a problem on the floor, or driving a continuous improvement project, your leadership will directly shape the quality in every bottle we produce. In this role you will be the go-to person on shift — allocating crew resources, building weekly schedules with employee development in mind, and working cross‑functionally with winemaking, maintenance, bottling, quality, and more. You will operate equipment, manage work orders in systems such as SAP and WineManager, run inventory reconciliations, and lead root‑cause analyses when challenges arise. You bring a proactive mindset, a sharp eye for improvement, and a commitment to safety that sets the standard for everyone around you. What You’ll Need High School Diploma or State‑issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of wine production or production operations experience, or 8 years of winery, brewery, or production operations experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. Experience leading teams. Required to work any assigned shift (day, swing, graveyard); required to work weekends and overtime when necessary. Flexibility and a strong work ethic are required. Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency. Required to wear a respirator when necessary (Cellar/Sanitation). Required to undergo onsite forklift certification. Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Skilled in writing simple correspondence. Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers and units of measure (inches, feet, gallons, etc.). Initiative to identify issues, risk and gaps and communicate findings. Required to travel to company offices, sites and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings and events for development, department needs and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and market alignment. In addition to the salary, the position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans or participation in tasting room tip pools. This position will be based in the location(s) specified and requires working on‑site with no telecommuting option. You are expected to live within a commutable distance.
