About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required Must-Have: Must have 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience; travel experience acceptable. Must work at least every other holiday. Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation. Must provide two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty. Description: Registered Nurse in Med/Surg Tele with potential to float to designated units. Shifts may be variable, depending on operational needs. The facility will strive to honor preferred shifts but reserves the right to rotate staff if necessary. Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required. Traveler must meet competency assessments during orientation with an acceptable score required. Previous charge experience is considered a plus. Candidates with personal hits, license hits, or open cases on background checks will not qualify. All travelers must be nicotine-free as per facility requirements, except for nurses and CSTs. Negative drug screening results are required within specified time frames. Candidates may extend assignments for a maximum of 18 months but must take a required break afterward. Modules are part of the pre-start process and must be completed annually. All submissions must ensure compliance with time-sensitive requirements.
