Job Description Job Title: RRT
Location: Gunnison, Colorado
Schedule: 6:00AM - 4:00PM x 6
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate : $59 - $64/hr Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a RRT for a temporary assignment in Gunnison, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend. Responsibilities for a RRT:
• Provide comprehensive therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care to both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Administer care under the direction of ordering physicians and under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill in respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and newborn patients
• Maintain a working knowledge of Pulmonary Function Studies and the administration of testing
• Assist in the orientation and training of new clinical staff on respiratory therapy modalities and equipment
• Be involved with community education and development
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Maintain registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Maintain valid state licensure to practice respiratory care in Colorado
• Maintain membership in the American Academy of Respiratory Care (AARC)
• Apply experience in General Floor Care, Emergent Medical and Trauma Stabilization/Treatment, and Newborn Stabilization
• Apply experience in Cardiopulmonary Diagnostics and Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation
• Complete Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check as required
• Ensure access to reliable personal transportation as public transportation is not available in the area Benefits for a RRT:
