About the Position

Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | Primary Care/Urgent Care Experience Required

We are seeking an experienced  Nurse Practitioner to join  MinuteClinic in  Austell, Georgia . This is a full-time, patient-facing opportunity providing evidence-based primary and family care in a collaborative clinical environment.

Position Details

• Location: Austell, GA
• Start: Individual start
• Schedule: 40 hours/week
• Clinic Hours:
  • Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–7:30 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Orientation: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, for 4 weeks
• Setting: MinuteClinic / Retail Clinic
• Position: Full-time
• Patient Care: In-person and patient-facing
• Weekend Requirement: Typically 3 out of every 6 weekends
• Holiday Rotation: May be required
• Travel: Occasional travel/float coverage may be required

‍⚕️ Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will work with a dedicated clinical care team to provide comprehensive patient care, including:

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients
• Providing primary and family care
• Managing acute and chronic conditions
• Performing routine examinations and health screenings
• Providing health counseling and wellness education
• Supporting chronic disease management
• Performing diagnostic testing
• Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals
• Developing treatment and disposition plans
• Following up with patients
• Managing patient appointments
• Verifying insurance and collecting payments
• Supporting clinic opening/closing and inventory
• Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care
• Prior  Primary Care or Urgent Care experience is required
• Current Georgia NP license
• NP license must be in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions
• Master's degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Current national board certification
• BLS required from AHA or American Red Cross
• NPI required
• DEA registration may be required during onboarding
• Ability to practice autonomously
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Proficiency with electronic medical systems and technology
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses if needed
