In the U.S., we have commercial and residential real estate capabilities on both the East Coast and West Coast, and also regularly handle transactions in a variety of other markets nationwide.For more information on our Real Estate practice please visit this page.The RoleThis role will sit in our New York office.Lead and manage complex residential real estate transactions from inception through closing, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, construction, renovation, and design matters. Coordinate all aspects of the transaction process, including title and survey review, due diligence, escrow oversight, and communications with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, and other stakeholders.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of real estate documentation, including purchase and sale agreements, residential leases, brokerage agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and real estate finance documents, as well as ancillary closing materials such as certificates, resolutions, and consents.Advise clients throughout all phases of real estate transactions, including acquisition, disposition, leasing, development, and financing, while conducting and coordinating comprehensive due diligence efforts, including review of title commitments, surveys, zoning, land use, and contractual obligations.· The role will also involve contributing to the team's profile and undertaking business development activities to establish, develop, and maintain long-term relationships; including, writing articles/posts, attending events/conferences and building networks with private wealth contacts/intermediaries including global and peer firms and counsel.This list of duties and responsibilities is not exhaustive.
