About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Counsel to join its legal team. The successful candidate will be a key legal partner to the business, providing support for commercial operations and working closely with an international legal team. This role is pivotal in the company's growth, offering the opportunity to develop processes, partner with commercial teams, and provide legal guidance on a wide range of matters. The Senior Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing various commercial agreements, including customer contracts, SaaS and software licensing agreements, and procurement agreements. Applicants must have a J.D. from an accredited law school, active U.S. bar admission, and at least 5 years' of legal experience, with a focus on complex commercial contracting. Experience in technology-driven businesses, particularly in software, SaaS, or cybersecurity, is preferred. The role requires the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice, and experience in collaborating with sales teams, executives, and other stakeholders. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in Tampa and demands a full-time, onsite commitment.
