Assistant Baseball Coach

Position Summary The Head Baseball Coach will be responsiblefor working closely with the head coach and the team to organize and lead all aspects of the baseball program, including practices, games, playerdevelopment, and team culture. Responsibilities Plan and conduct effective practices and gamestrategies Develop student-athletes’ skills, teamwork, andsportsmanship Supervise athletes during practices, games, andtravel Maintain compliance with school, district, andLHSSA rules Communicate with players, parents, and school staff Organize tryouts and team selection Ensure proper care and inventory of equipment anduniforms Promote academic success and positive behavioramong athletes Qualifications Previous coaching and/or playing experience inbaseball preferred Knowledge of baseball rules, techniques, andtraining methods Strong leadership, communication, andorganizational skills Ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness toobtain) Background check and Drug Test required Preferred Qualifications High school or club coaching experience Experience with strength and conditioning programs #J-18808-Ljbffr
