Location: Henrico Doctors Hospital, Richmond, VA

Start Date: Flexible, upon acceptance

End Date/Duration: Ongoing contingent on assignment

Shift: 24/7 in-house coverage (varied shifts)

Hours/week: Full-time (40+ hours)

Employment Type: Permanent

Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology

Experience: Prior NICU experience preferred, recent graduates considered

What You'll Do

Provide expert neonatal intensive care in a 40-bed Level III NICU

Collaborate with a dedicated team of neonatologists and support staff for 24/7 coverage

Utilize advanced therapies like HFOV, HFJV, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia

Work closely with pediatric surgery and cardiology specialists for comprehensive patient management

Coordinate with neonatal transport teams for patient transfers and emergency care

Deliver family-centered care in a modern single-family room NICU environment

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and safety programs

What You Need

Valid Virginia medical license or eligibility

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology

Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience preferred; recent graduates considered

Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills
