About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth and new development across our national portfolio, we're expanding our Construction team and hiring multiple CAD professionals at various experience levels. Whether you're starting your career or stepping into a leadership role, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative, fast-paced department that plays a critical role in shaping the future of retail and mixed-use real estate.

You'll work closely with our Leasing, Development, and Property Management teams on high-impact projects that reflect the strength and momentum of our business.

Available Positions

We're hiring for the following roles:

CAD Drafter I (Entry-Level) - Onsite Required

Ideal for candidates beginning their drafting careers. Work under the mentorship of experienced team members while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

CAD Drafter II (Intermediate-Level)

In addition to core drafting responsibilities, this role supports project communication, redline reviews, and cross-functional coordination. May include occasional travel.

CAD Team Lead

Supports the Assistant Supervisor in overseeing day-to-day workflows, external consultant coordination, and documentation efforts. Leads training and mentoring initiatives. May include occasional travel.

Assistant Supervisor

A leadership role supporting high-level operations, interdepartmental alignment, and strategic execution. Includes responsibilities around onboarding, 3D modeling coordination, and process improvement. Occasional travel required.

What You'll Do

General Responsibilities (All Roles)

• Modify, verify, and update CAD drawings for leasing and marketing deliverables (floor plans, site plans, lease exhibits, etc.) while following established department standards.
• Coordinate with Leasing, Construction, and Tenant Coordination to develop LODs, floor plans, and elevations.
• Coordinate updates with internal departments and field teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Deliver high-quality client service through proactive collaboration across departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Support additional duties as needed.

Role-Specific Highlights

CAD Drafter I

• Candidates must be able to work onsite for this position.
• Execute all core drafting duties outlined in the General Responsibilities section
• Produce and update floor plans, site plans, and lease exhibits in accordance with company standards
• Collaborate closely with internal departments, including Leasing and Construction
• Receive hands-on training and mentorship from CAD II, Team Lead, and Supervisor

CAD Drafter II

• Review updates made by CAD I team members
• Work with Big Box Leasing for floor plans, site plans and lease exhibits\
• Attend Tenant Coordination meetings to support interdepartmental communication
• Responsible for keeping Retail Manager floor plans updated.

CAD Team Lead

• Partner with Development and Big Box Leasing to deliver floor plans, site plans, and lease exhibits
• Coordinate with outside A/E consultants along with the Assistant Supervisor
• Compile documents for appraisals and due diligence
• Support Marketing by providing CAD materials as needed
• Aid in training within the CAD department.

Assistant Supervisor

• Drive CAD output quality, speed, and accuracy across the department
• Attend leasing and construction meetings to ensure alignment across teams
• Coordinate team training and onboarding of new properties
• Create and manage 3D modeling/rendering efforts
• Provide property data for insurance and legal documentation
• Support the CAD Supervisor in team operations and strategy

What We're Looking For:

Requirements (All Roles)

• Associate degree (Architectural Drafting or closely related field) preferred or alternative comparable certification and experience.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team setting
• General building code knowledge
• Working knowledge of space planning, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines
• Self-starter with excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Highly energetic and committed; excited to be a part of a rapidly growing company.

CAD Drafter I

Additional Requirements

• Onsite presence is required for this role.
• General knowledge of AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team setting

Preferred

• 0-1 year of drafting experience or relevant coursework
• Strong communication and organizational skills

CAD Drafter II

Additional Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in CAD drafting
• Proficient in AutoCAD

Preferred

• Experience supporting junior team members
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

CAD Team Lead

Additional Requirements

• 2-3+ years of CAD drafting experience
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency

Preferred

• Experience mentoring and leading staff
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and process efficiency

Assistant Supervisor

Additional Requirements

• 4-5+ years of CAD experience
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency

Preferred

• Experience overseeing a team or managing technical workflows
• Skilled in team training, 3D modeling, and interdepartmental collaboration
• Proven success in cross-functional project management
• Strategic mindset with excellent leadership abilities
