We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support a civil litigation law firm across multiple practice areas. This full-time role will assist with litigation preparation, legal research, document drafting, case management, and court calendaring, with some remote work possible. Reporting to the managing partner, paralegal manager, and litigation partner, the paralegal will primarily provide preparation support for courtroom matters while maintaining accurate, organized case files and deadlines.

 

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research across civil litigation matters and multiple practice areas.
• Draft legal documents and other litigation materials.
• Calendar court dates, hearings, and case deadlines.
• Manage case information, files, and litigation workflows.
• Maintain filing systems and support court filing procedures.
• Communicate with clients regarding case-related matters.
• Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of litigation tasks.
• Prepare materials for courtroom and hearing support.

 

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in litigation support.
• Strong computer skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate.
• Prior experience in a litigation law firm.
• Legal research and legal document drafting experience.
• Experience with case management software and e-discovery.
• Knowledge of court filing procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and written communication skills.
• Interest in pursuing paralegal certification with firm support.
• Interest in progressing toward a senior paralegal role.
