Sales Enablement & Coaching Consultant — Consultative, High-Value Sales

A fast-growing, fully remote U.S. law firm focused on high-skilled and business immigration is engaging a consultant to improve its intake and sales system. Clients are professionals and founders in dozens of countries. Engagements are high-value and consultative, and are largely decided on a single video consultation following an online eligibility review.

The intake team performs well. Its senior specialists sell in different styles and draw on judgment built from experience. The objective is to turn that knowledge into a system that supports a larger team, while improving the process and client experience, and to reduce leakage at every stage of the funnel.

Scope The engagement covers the full funnel, from initial contact through booking, consultation, engagement letter, and first payment.

Phase 1 — Diagnose

• Analyze how the team sells today using call recordings, funnel metrics, and working sessions with the specialists.
• Identify what drives conversion and where prospects are lost at each stage.
• Test whether matching prospects to particular specialists by client profile improves outcomes.

Phase 2 — Codify

• Shared standards and playbooks for discovery, the consultative process, follow-up, and quality, with room for individual style.
• Recommendations on booking and follow-up sequences, CRM pipeline design and stages, and pricing and payment structure.
• If Phase 1 supports it, a prospect-to-specialist matching framework.

Phase 3 — Scale

• Onboarding and coaching systems that bring new specialists to standard without informal training by senior staff.
• A proposed metrics framework and a continuous coaching cadence.

The consultant recommends; the firm's internal team owns implementation and generally acts on recommendations quickly. Success is measured against historical performance and defined jointly at the outset. The target is documented processes in place and leakage reduced by a defined percentage at each funnel stage.

Profile

• Proven record in high-value, consultative sales in any industry. Legal-industry experience is neither required nor a disadvantage.
• Hands-on experience across sales enablement, sales operations, and coaching, including playbooks, qualification and follow-up frameworks, and onboarding programs that teams continued to run.
• Analytical approach: comfortable working from funnel data and call review to find where conversion is won and lost.
• A track record of applying methods from other industries rather than reproducing a field's existing practice.

Preferred:

• Sales experience in a regulated or professional-services setting.
• Consultations run by video after an online application.
• HubSpot experience.
• Experience coaching distributed or international teams.

Engagement Contract; terms flexible depending on scope of engagement and proposed time commitment. The target start is within two weeks, following internal review and interview.
