This team member is a vital part of BAFC as s/he is nearly always the first contact people have with our practice. The successful candidate will work well with our existing team of professionals to create an environment strong in customer service, organization and responsibility while creating and supporting a smooth operating office.Primary responsibilities include:Expertly answer multiple-line telephone with a consistently amazing attitudeEnsure new patient appointments are scheduled promptlySchedule/book follow up patient appointmentsTake messages accurately and ensure follow throughProvide superior customer serviceRoute electronic faxes to the correct team memberOther duties may include: Confirming insurance benefits and deductibles Use of electronic medical records Faxing, copying, stocking Assist the doctors and office medical staff with various dutiesExperience and Qualifications: We are looking for a candidate who:works calmly under pressureis knowledgeable in switching between tasks and is detail orientedis well organized and punctualhas incredible people and customer service skillsgenuinely enjoys helping othersis a positive person, skilled in communication and listeningis responsible and trustworthymust speak Spanish fluentlyhas professional attire, behavior and languagePrior medical front office experience REQUIREDJob Type: Full-timeHealthcare setting: ClinicSchedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday No weekendsExperience: EMR system: 1 year (Preferred) Medical office: 1 year (Preferred)Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible spending account Free parking Health insurance Health savings account Paid time offEducation: High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience: EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred) Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred)Work Location: In person
