Global Talent Partners is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Veterinarian to step into a Medical Director position with an established small animal practice in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. This position combines hands-on clinical medicine with the opportunity to shape medical standards, mentor associate veterinarians and work alongside the Practice Manager to support the continued development of the hospital. With a manageable caseload, strong clinical support and an outpatient-only model, the role offers the scope to lead while remaining closely involved in patient care. About the Practice This community-focused companion animal hospital provides comprehensive outpatient veterinary care for dogs, cats and select pocket and exotic pets within a collaborative, low-stress environment. The hospital maintains an efficient caseload of approximately 14 patients per veterinarian per day, supported by an approximate 2:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio. Services and clinical capabilities include:
• Wellness and preventative medicine
• Comprehensive physical examinations

• Client education and ongoing patient management The practice operates entirely on an outpatient basis with no overnight inpatient care, allowing the team to provide comprehensive daytime medicine while maintaining a predictable clinical environment. The Opportunity As Medical Director, you'll combine clinical practice with responsibility for supporting the hospital's medical standards, team development and quality of care. The position offers:
• Hands-on clinical medicine alongside leadership responsibilities

• Clinical leadership and medical oversight
• Medical autonomy over your own cases
• Mentorship and development of associate veterinarians
• Partnership with the Practice Manager
