Desired Experience And Qualifications Current credential as a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Minimum EIPA score of3.5; completion of the written EIPA portion required Experience interpreting in educational environments preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt and respond to varying student and classroom needs Primary Responsibilities Deliver accurate and effective sign language interpretation between students, staff, and educators Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to support individualized student needs Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of interpreting Assist with fostering an inclusive environment that enables student participation in all aspects of school life Participate in meetings and professional development as needed Step into a role where each day brings fresh opportunities to empower students and celebrate their success.
