About the Role The attorney will handle a sophisticated family law caseload, including dissolution of marriage and parentage actions, child custody, child and spousal support, complex property division, domestic violence matters, and post‑judgment issues. The role involves managing cases from intake through resolution, including preparing pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial. The position is remote, with in‑person court appearances as needed in Los Angeles and surrounding counties. Responsibilities Managing cases from intake through resolution, including preparing pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial. Qualifications Admitted to practice law in the State of California Minimum 5 years of dedicated family law experience (high‑net‑worth / complex cases strongly preferred) Strong command of California family law, local rules, and local LASC court procedures Proven experience with complex property division (businesses, real estate portfolios, equity compensation, retirement assets, etc.) Proven experience with support analysis, including preparing X‑spouse reports and guiding forensic accountants and other experts as required Domestic violence / DVRO matters Excellent litigation, legal research, and high‑level writing skills (motions, trial briefs, settlement proposals) Confident in court (in‑person and remote) and in mediation/settlement settings Exceptional communication skills with clients, counsel, experts, and the court Highly organized, able to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast‑moving practice Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, while collaborating closely with a team Contact To apply, please send your resume and a brief cover email/message via LinkedIn or View email address on click.appcast.io with “Family Law Attorney - Application” in the subject line.
