Experience with Southwestern Industries mills and lathes using ProtoTRAK controls is a major plus. Job Description Operate and maintain manual machining equipment with precision and efficiency; work with Southwestern Industries mills and lathes using ProtoTRAK M2 and SMX controls, and more. Up to $35 per hour based on skill level & experience Full-time position 8-hour shift, Monday – Friday 401(k) Retirement Plan with dollar-for-dollar company match Paid vacation and holidays Medical, Dental, Life, and Short/Long-term Disability Insurance 23,000 sq. ft. facility with state-of-the-art equipment Friendly, professional work environment Responsibilities Operate and maintain manual machining equipment with precision and efficiency Work with Southwestern Industries mills and lathes using ProtoTRAK M2 and SMX controls Review blueprints, samples, and instructions to ensure accuracy Support R&D and prototype machining projects Assist with sheet metal and miscellaneous shop needs as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Requirements Manual machining experience required (steel, aluminum, stainless steel, some exotics) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for 8-hour shifts Knowledge of steels, alloys, and NDE processes preferred High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Questions Join Our Expert Team at A & H Metals, Inc.!
