QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field. At least 1 consecutive year of child welfare experience. Experience working with children and families in a social services context. Organization and strong time management skills. Valid driver's license with properly registered and insured vehicle. Proficient in Microsoft Office.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assessing the family and child(ren) using the Family Strengths and Needs Guide and Child Strengths and Needs Guide while helping the family develop a plan to mitigate the safety threats when safety threats are identified.
- Developing a Family Service Plan with the family that addresses the identified needs related to risk and safety of a caseload of up to 12 families.
- Reviewing the progress on the Family Service Plan with the family.
- Assisting the family in building a support network and facilitating Family Team Meetings.
- Assisting the family in managing crisis situations and referring families to resources or services.
