This full-time, contract opportunity focuses on providing essential speech and language support to elementary students, helping them reach their full potential academically and socially.

Highlights of the position:

• Serve an average caseload of approximately 23 students, primarily at the elementary level
• Collaborate with supportive staff across multiple nearby buildings, all conveniently located within blocks of each other
• Provide flexible, student-centered service—start and end times may vary based on scheduling needs, with typical hours of 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, working 7.5 hours per day

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Valid state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Experience or strong interest in working within pediatric and school-based settings
• Skills in assessment, intervention planning, and IEP development for students with communication needs
• Ability to collaborate with general and special education staff as well as families

Role responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including IEPs and progress notes
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct therapy and consultative support across assigned campuses
