Diesel Truck Mechanic

Diesel MechanicWe are seeking several experienced diesel mechanics for our facility in Trenton, NJ, to perform repairs on a fleet of semi-trucks, trailers, and buses. The ideal technician should have 3 - 5 years of experience performing fleet repairs on commercial heavy-duty diesel trucks.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on heavy-duty vehicles and trailers.Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system diagnostics; replace and repair major internal engine components, transmission repairs, and rebuilds.Perform DOT annual inspections on medium/heavy-duty vehicles and trailers.Use computer diagnostic equipment.Conduct inspections and tests to ensure vehicles and equipment are in proper working condition.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.Qualifications:3 - 5 years of experience working as a diesel mechanicCummins certification is nice to have, but not a requirement.Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components.Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Compensation: $67,000 - $78,000 annuallyBenefits include: Health 401K Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Paid Sick Days Ability to upgrade your driver's license to a commercial license Shift: Days, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday–FridayAll successful candidates will be subjected to a pre-employment background check.If interested in the role, please contact Rachelle at View phone number on click.appcast.io for more details.
