About The Role American Stone is hiring a full-time Inbound Salesperson to support customers, process orders, and drive sales through incoming inquiries and in-store interactions. Compensation: Base + Commission (high performers can earn up to $60K+ in their first year) This role focuses on building relationships with contractors, landscapers, and retail customers by providing product guidance, processing orders, and identifying upsell opportunities. Candidates with experience in construction, landscaping, building materials, or related industries are strongly preferred. Familiarity with heavy equipment, tools, and job site environments is highly valued. This is a primarily on-site position based at one of our locations. Candidates must be local and available to work during business hours, including Saturdays. Benefits Health Insurance 401K Paid Time Off 6 Paid Holidays Cell Phone Plan Responsibilities Assist walk-in customers and respond to inbound calls and inquiries Build and maintain relationships with contractors, landscapers, and retail customers Process orders accurately and efficiently Recommend products and identify upsell opportunities Coordinate with yard and operations teams to fulfill orders Maintain organized records and customer information Follow up with customers to support repeat business Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals Qualifications Required Candidates must be willing to provide professional references during the hiring process Strong communication and customer service skills Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and dependable Basic computer skills (email, Google Docs, Microsoft Word) Ability to work on-site and occasionally assist with light physical tasks Preferred Sales experience (inside or retail sales) Experience in construction, landscaping, building materials, or related industries (strongly preferred) Familiarity with heavy equipment, tools, or job site environments Spanish is a plus Schedule Business hours (Monday to Saturday; schedule may vary based on business needs) About American Stone American Stone is a family‑owned company supplying stone products for construction, landscaping, and retail customers.
