Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help support our organization’s financial health and operational efficiency. DTools and Quickbooks experience is required. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of accounting software and financial systems, contributing to the overall success of our organization. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and account analysis using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and others. Reconcile bank statements and perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. Process payroll and maintain payroll records in compliance with applicable regulations. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections. Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Conduct account reconciliation and review debits & credits to maintain precise financial records. Assist with governmental accounting requirements and tax preparation activities as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with strong knowledge of accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks (especially QuickBooks Online), DTools, Quicken, and other financial systems. Solid understanding of technical accounting concepts like journal entries, bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and account analysis. Experience with payroll processing. Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately and efficiently for data entry tasks. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for account reconciliation and financial report writing. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and ensure accurate record keeping.
