CEG is seeking an experienced, field‑driven Project Manager to take projects from kickoff to closeout: on time, on budget, and to spec. This is a hands-on role in a lean firm, and you own the outcome. You build the plan, manage the resources, hold the schedule, and keep the government confident in the work. What You'll Do: Project Execution Lead project planning sessions and develop detailed project schedules Oversee execution to ensure adherence to timelines, scope, and objectives Allocate and manage resources, including coordination with subcontractors and vendors Client & Stakeholder Management Engage military and federal clients and stakeholders to provide updates, manage expectations, and address concerns or changes Prepare and present regular status reports on progress, issues, and risks Build strong relationships that earn CEG trust and repeat work Quality, Risk & Compliance Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client specifications through regular reviews and inspections Identify and assess project risks early and put mitigation strategies in place Maintain safety standards and regulatory compliance across the project What You Bring: Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Studies, Construction Management, or a related field Preferred Experience & Credentials A minimum of 5+ years of relevant project management experience A track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards Experience managing resources, subcontractors, and vendors Valid driver's license OSHA 10/30/40-hour certification (CEG will provide training if you don't already have it) Federal contracting experience Military service or experience supporting DoD missions PMP certification or eligibility PE, PG, or similar professional license USACE QA/QC certification Core Skills & Attributes Clear written and verbal communication: you can brief a client and a crew equally well Highly organized, with strong attention to detail Able to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions Able to manage multiple priorities in a team-driven environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Willing to travel to project sites and obtain access to secured federal and military installations Work Environment Active outdoor construction sites in varying conditions Travel required depending on project location Work on secured federal and military installations Compensation & Benefits $85K to $150K based on qualifications and experience Comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Why This Role Matters The work we do supports: Military Readiness Environmental Restoration Long-term infrastructure resilience If you're ready to lead construction in the field, take ownership of execution, and build infrastructure that truly matters, this is your opportunity.
