Job Summary: The General Manager is responsible for leading operations and financial performance for Burger King across the US Southeast. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, Franchise Operations, Burger King, this role provides leadership across a complex, multi-franchise environment and partners closely with franchisees and internal stakeholders to drive sustainable growth. The role leads a team through subordinate managers and is accountable for achieving strategic targets related to sales, traffic, profitability, operational execution, and brand standards. The General Manager ensures alignment between regional strategies and day-to-day operations while navigating diverse challenges across people, finance, marketing, competition, supply, and logistics. RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite out of our Miami, FL office 5 days per week. Roles & Responsibilities: Regional Performance & Business Results Own marketing, operational, financial, and quality performance for Burger King within the assigned US Southeast. Drive achievement of strategic targets related to sales, guest traffic, profitability, and operational key performance indicators. Ensure consistent delivery of brand standards and operational excellence across the region. Franchisee Partnership & Leadership Actively operate in partnership with franchisees, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic leader. Maintain strong relationships with franchisees and key strategic partners. Provide strategic direction to franchisee management, including developing leadership capability and improvement practices to support long-term growth. Strategy & Operational Execution Develop and execute short- and long-term regional operations strategies aligned with brand and enterprise objectives. Work closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure strategies translate into effective execution and regional results. Ensure operational performance across the region by addressing complex, interrelated issues spanning human resources, finance, marketing, competition, customer experience, supply, and logistics. Leadership & Team Management Lead and manage a diverse organization through subordinate managers across a major portion of the business unit. Model strong business acumen and operational leadership, fostering accountability and performance discipline across the team. Direct ongoing monitoring and reporting of franchisee operational performance. Industry & Competitive Insight Build and maintain strong knowledge of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry trends and competitive dynamics. Apply industry insights to inform strategic decisions and operational priorities. Skills & Qualifications: 8+ Years in franchise operations or multi-unit leadership roles within a consumer-facing or QSR environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field. Strong understanding of marketing principles and their application to regional business performance. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence outcomes without direct authority. Proven capability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
