Sales Manager

1. Customer & Channel Development
• Develop priority accounts across Home Center / DIY, Distribution / Commercial, Ecommerce and strategic retail. Focus includes The Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards, Floor & Decor, Ferguson, VT Industries (VTI), Wayfair, Build.com, Amazon, Costco, hardware groups and qualified fabricator / vanity / kitchen opportunities.
• Maintain five (5) active priority targets plus the next five (5) in active outreach, with decision-maker, meeting activity, opportunity, next step and timing clearly tracked.


2. Product & Portfolio Development
• Work with Thomas Baert and the global B&K team to define the U.S. assortment and stocked SKUs for Quariom, Ceramicore, countertops, sinks and related categories, using customer feedback to guide the offer.
• Establish competitive pricing and margin targets, and coordinate samples, specifications and customer requirements.


3. Marketing, Showroom & Sales Enablement
• Help establish and maintain the U.S. B&K showroom and sample system around stocked and priority products.
• Coordinate customer presentations, ecommerce content and U.S. marketing / social-media support with Lacy, Christina and the appropriate Company resources.


4. Operations & Route-to-Market
• Determine the best route-to-market by account and channel, including direct import, 3PL, stocking and distribution, with customers such as VTI, Ferguson and other qualified partners.
• Define the order-to-delivery workflow and Company North America / Asia handoffs, and resolve operating gaps using the simplest, most efficient ownership model.


5. Inventory, Forecasting & Business Planning
• Build the stocking strategy and rolling forecast tied to active opportunities; work with William and the Asia team on stock levels, visibility, reorder cadence and replenishment.
• Manage inventory risk and service requirements and support the annual U.S. B&K budget and operating plan.


6. Business Management & Cross-Functional Leadership
• Serve as the day-to-day U.S. point person, coordinating Thomas Baert, Company North America and the Asia team across sales, product, operations, supply chain and marketing.
• Maintain a simple recurring business review covering customers, pipeline, product, inventory / forecast, operating issues, decisions and next steps; escalate key barriers quickly to Thomas Baert and Dennis Szczybor.


Overall Objective


Successfully establish and grow B&K International in the U.S. by building a strong customer base and developing the right product offering by channel.

In practice, this means turning priority targets into approved programs and repeat business, putting the right products, pricing and inventory in place for each channel, and building a reliable route-to-market from the factory to the customer. The goal is a profitable, sustainable B&K business in the U.S. that can later expand across North America.
