Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Onsite
Workload: 40-50 hours
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Supply Chain Planning & Optimization Analyst supports the organization’s operational and strategic objectives by combining production and inventory planning with advanced analytics, forecasting, and optimization. This position is responsible for developing finished goods production plans, fruit utilization strategies, and inventory plans while leveraging enterprise data and analytical tools to improve decision-making, efficiency, and financial performance.
The role partners cross-functionally with field operations, sales, procurement, finance, and plant teams to ensure aligned, efficient, and informed execution of business plans. This role also supports continuous improvement initiatives by transforming complex datasets into actionable insights and scalable analytical solutions that improve planning accuracy, optimize inventory, and drive operational performance across the supply chain network.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to the Director of Planning and does not supervise staff. The role works closely with Finance, Information Services, Procurement, Field Operations, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Engineering, and warehouse/distribution teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Partner with cross-functional business stakeholders including Finance, Information Systems, Procurement, Operations, Quality, Marketing, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Software Consultants to develop data-driven planning and optimization solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain forecasting models and planning tools to improve demand planning accuracy, production alignment, and inventory positioning.
- Develop optimization strategies to balance service levels, inventory costs, production capacity constraints, and waste reduction across the supply chain network.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.
- Support production planning and inventory management processes by evaluating trends, risks, and business requirements.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to provide visibility into supply chain performance and operational KPIs.
- Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and strategic planning efforts.
- Utilize ERP systems, databases, and advanced analytical tools to extract, validate, and interpret large datasets for business insights.
- Assist in the development and implementation of scalable supply chain planning processes and best practices.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide analytical support for operational initiatives, projects, and business decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
- Experience in supply chain planning, forecasting, analytics, production planning, or inventory management preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization/reporting tools.
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain planning software preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
