Advanced Licensed Crisis Response Clinician, LMSW

Join a compassionate team as an Advanced Licensed Crisis Response Clinician providing vital mental health and substance abuse emergency services across a regional community in the Midwest. This role involves delivering person-centered, trauma-informed care to individuals experiencing crisis, including preliminary assessments, immediate crisis resolution, de-escalation, and connecting clients to appropriate community resources to prevent more restrictive treatment options.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental status examinations to establish provisional diagnoses and assess risk levels.
• Implement evidence-based behavioral health interventions such as EMDR, DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
• Collaborate closely with clients, families, law enforcement, and community agencies to coordinate care and develop personalized crisis safety plans.
• Document all services accurately and timely, ensuring quality record keeping.
• Participate in on-call rotations and occasional night or weekend shifts based on community needs.

Education

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

Experience

Preferred candidates will have 3-5 years of experience working with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI), serious mental illness (SMI), or seriously emotionally disturbed (SED) populations. Experience supervising clinicians pursuing licensure and working with diverse, high-risk populations is highly valued.

Licensure and Certifications

Must hold a BSRB license at the master's level and be qualified as a Mental Health Professional (QMHP). A valid driver's license is required. Additional licensure in substance use disorder treatment is preferred.
