Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (7p - 7:30a) with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. Job Description The Emergency Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. Nurses are required to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while coordinating with healthcare teams and ensuring compliance with established protocols. Responsibilities Perform initial patient assessments and triage incoming patients. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members for effective patient care. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to appropriate staff. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-hospital care. Document patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) accurately and timely. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 24 months of ER experience with recent experience in the last 12 months. Current certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS from approved vendors. Active license to practice with no hits on state license. Driver's license required to verify residency.
