Automotive Technician Position

We are one of the largest Automotive groups in the Midwest with the newest Buick GMC dealer in Columbus, Ohio we are need of experienced Service Technicians to handle the large volume increase since opening in July of 2020. We boost one of the strongest veteran Advisor staff in the city with outstanding customer pay selling production. We have available work stations with bright LED lighting, computer access, offering competitive wages, paid manufacture training and complete benefit packages. F/T FLAT RATE SERVICE TECHNICIAN POSITION:

Automotive technician -GM experience required. Lindsay Buick GMC in Whitehall Ohio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with the dealership.

Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical and electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc..

Communicate directly with Service Advisors so that customers can be informed if any additional services are needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for any repair or additional repairs.

Executing repairs under warranty as outlined in manufacturers specifications.

Qualifications:

ASE Certifications are ideal.

Strong automotive background

Strong Teamwork

Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check

Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
