Ford Master Technician Certifications Required or In Progress

Candidates must hold Ford Master Technician certification or be actively pursuing it. The following Ford Service Technician Specialty Training (STST) certifications are required for Master Technician status:

Senior Master Technician designation (all three Master categories completed, 5+ years at a Ford/Lincoln dealership) is a strong differentiator and is strongly preferred for this Lead role.

What You'll Do

• Execute repair orders with precision, efficiency, and adherence to dealership and Ford quality standards
• Diagnose and repair all vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and climate control using Ford IDS/FDRS and other diagnostic equipment
• Lead by example mentor junior technicians and contribute to a high-performing shop culture
• Communicate proactively with Service Advisors to ensure customers are informed of additional repair needs and receive accurate time estimates
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure all customer vehicles are returned in pristine condition
• Stay current with Ford technical service bulletins, new model training, and evolving EV/hybrid technology
• Operate all tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment in a safe and professional manner
