Records SpecialistPersonal Injury law firms will hire companies (like us!) to call medical providers to receive medical records and bills on their behalf.As a Records Specialist, you'll spend your day making calls, sending emails, and working with medical providers to gather records. You'll have a structured daily workflow with a set of tasks to complete. We strive to foster professional and personal growth within our team. In this role, you'll gain exposure to the legal and healthcare industries and build your organization, task management, and professional communication skills.The BreakdownInteract with case managers and providers via phone, email, and chat (entry-level computer work)Work through a group of assigned records requests each dayEffectively retrieve medical records and bills for law firmsEnsure special authorizations are completedTrack the progress of requests in our systemInteract with providers with enthusiasm to accomplish daily goalsBuild genuine relationships with providers and coworkersStay organized and professional while handling a steady flow of workThink critically through unexpected problemsPerform other duties as assignedPay & Schedule:$15-$17/hour starting rate (based on qualifications)Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.No nights or weekendsBenefits:Paid vacation + 8 paid holidays401(k) retirement plan with 3.5% matchMedical, dental, vision, life, and supplemental insurance availableTeam events and a strong office cultureWhat We're Looking for:Good communication skillsComfortable speaking on the phone regularlyReliable and willing to learnHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPhysical Requirements:Experience prolonged sitting, standing or bending.Ability to interact with standard office technology (e.g., keyboard, computer, headset, mouse) with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.On-site attendance.Why Us?You could take your talents anywhere.
