The minimum hiring rate is $41.41 with increased rates for experienced individuals and up to $7 shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts. Job Responsibilities Complete assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards. Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family throughout the continuum of care. Formulate, coordinate, and provide plan of care as established in unit standards including patient and family education, family needs and discharge planning throughout hospitalization with members of the interdisciplinary team. Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy and procedure. Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and revise plan of care based on patient response to interventions. Initiate collaboration with physicians, ancillary personnel, and other interdisciplinary team members and act to proactively resolve and facilitate patient needs. Problem‑solve, troubleshoot and take corrective measures in the care and handling of equipment. Participate in unit‑based decision‑making regarding the utilization of evidence‑based practice. Actively participate as a team member working toward team goals of the unit and organization and be accountable for unit and system‑specific metrics. Actively participate in patient quality and safety education programs and other activities designed to improve departmental and organizational quality and safety. Position Details Hours: 7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.; every other weekend and holiday requirements. Unit Description The unit is primarily private rooms with some semi‑private rooms. Patient population includes a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions, specializing in surgical orthopedic patient and total joint surgery. The unit has onsite physical and occupational therapy gym and hospitalist services 24/7. Education Graduate from Specialty Training Program‑Nursing (required) or Bachelor’s Degree‑Nursing (preferred). Experience Relevant experience as an Inpatient RN in a similar setting.
