Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission; Maryland or compact license required
• 3 years of current, strong Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• OB triage experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and C-EFM certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate accepted if C-EFM is obtained for extensions meeting or exceeding 1 year from the original start date
• Experience with Meditech preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with a 1:2 patient ratio environment

Labor & Delivery Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in Labor & Delivery, OB Triage, and postpartum settings
• Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assist with labor support, delivery care, and postpartum recovery
• Circulate for C-sections and support obstetric procedures as needed
• Collaborate with the care team to promote safe, compassionate, family-centered care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold strong clinical standards throughout each shift
• Support a smooth workflow during night shifts, weekends, and holidays
