Position Summary

We are seeking two motivated and dependable Onsite Supervisors to oversee temporary employees at a busy food processing facility. This position serves as the primary point of contact between our staffing agency, our client, and our temporary workforce. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to ensuring employees are productive, engaged, and following all company policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support temporary employees throughout each shift.
• Ensure employees report to work on time and are assigned to the appropriate departments.
• Conduct daily attendance checks and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor employee performance, productivity, and attendance.
• Address employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues professionally and promptly.
• Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and food manufacturing guidelines.
• Coach employees on performance expectations and proper work practices.
• Coordinate staffing needs with the client and recruiting team.
• Assist with new employee orientations and onboarding.
• Complete daily reports, attendance logs, and incident documentation.
• Communicate regularly with client management regarding staffing levels, employee performance, and operational needs.
• Assist with employee disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Maintain a professional relationship with both client management and temporary employees.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory, team lead, or management experience required.
• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, food processing, or production environment preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a food production environment, including refrigerated areas when necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
