Salary Range: $140,000 – $150,000 per year

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA development and implementation. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, interfaces, enhancements, and SAP logistics modules. The role involves designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications while collaborating closely with functional teams and business stakeholders.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

12+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development and maintenance. Strong hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, HANA Views, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData Services. Experience working on SAP S/4HANA implementation projects. Strong knowledge of SAP FI, MM, and SD modules. Expertise in developing and supporting interfaces including IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and file-based integrations. Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP programming. Strong knowledge of ALV Reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and Module Pool programming. Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform system health checks and proactively identify potential issues. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP programs including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF objects). Develop and maintain Object-Oriented ABAP solutions aligned with business requirements. Create and support ALV Reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and Module Pool applications. Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData Services, and Web Services. Work on SAP S/4HANA developments including CDS Views, AMDP, and code pushdown techniques. Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Conduct code reviews and implement best practices for development standards and quality assurance. Perform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs and database operations. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Participate in full lifecycle implementations, system rollouts, enhancements, and support activities. Modify and enhance existing SAP applications to improve functionality and user experience. Ensure all developments comply with SAP development standards, governance policies, and documentation requirements.
