Essential Functions:

• Record and apply customer cash receipts
• Prepare bank deposits
• Proactively work collections via regular statement distribution and customer inquiries
• Work with customers to resolve questions and provide information upon request
• Assist in tracking and proper application of customer purchase orders
• Payroll preparation & processing

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Customer and Vendor account reconciliations
• Assist with subledger to GL reconciliations
• Support monthly close activities including GL adjustment review, reconciliation, and reporting to complete financial statements
• Other duties as assigned

Required Job Specifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with minimum 2 years of directly-related experience
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred
• Payroll experience preferred
• High attention to detail
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software

Optional/Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting team with commercial and government contracts
• Familiarity with IT services contracts and/or products
• Superior communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Work Conditions

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. The person in this position will often move about inside the office to escort visitors, deliver packages to addressee, etc. Occasionally operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time. The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and clients.
