Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or asset movement while reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or operational concerns to site leadership.
• Complete required reports, document incidents and/or observations, and handle assigned security-related equipment in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
