Vice President, Power & Renewables

We are partnering with a leading North American financial institution to hire a Vice President for its New York-based Power & Renewables Credit team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established platform with a strong reputation in energy transition financing, offering a clear path for promotion to Director. The team is a market leader in providing financing solutions across the power and renewable energy sector, working on a diverse range of transactions including utility-scale solar, onshore and offshore wind, battery energy storage, transmission, and other energy infrastructure assets. The role offers significant responsibility, some client exposure, and the opportunity to lead the execution of complex financings while mentoring junior team members. About the Role Lead the underwriting and execution of power and renewable energy financings across the full transaction lifecycle Structure and evaluate complex credit opportunities, including project finance, acquisition financings, refinancings, and corporate lending transactions Prepare and present credit recommendations to senior management and credit committees Lead due diligence efforts and work closely with clients, sponsors, legal counsel, technical advisors, and other internal stakeholders Manage junior team members throughout transaction execution while supporting their professional development Required Experience 8+ years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, power & renewables lending, leveraged finance, or credit investing Strong credit underwriting and financial modeling skills with experience leading complex financing transactions Proven ability to manage transaction execution and work directly with clients and senior stakeholders Bachelor's degree required Based in New York or willing to relocate If you're interested in learning more about this opportunity, please reach out to Ambre Schneider at View email address on click.appcast.io . #J-18808-Ljbffr Infrassocs
