About the Job

Infillion is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our Revenue Operations team and help ensure Salesforce is reliable, trusted, secure, and built to scale.

This is a hands-on engineering role responsible for designing and developing custom Salesforce solutions, integrating Salesforce with third-party systems, maintaining and modernizing the existing environment, providing production support, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. The successful candidate will partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, IT, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions, improve data integrity and financial transparency, and continuously enhance the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Salesforce development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Develop and enhance custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, JavaScript, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Workflow, and Marketo.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, and lead technical and usability reviews.

• Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce API and ETL integrations with third-party ERP, financial reporting, and business systems, including Workday, supporting bi-directional data flows for contracts, billing, revenue forecasting, financial reporting, and ad execution.

• Establish and maintain clear system-of-truth boundaries across Salesforce, ERP, and ELT platforms to ensure accurate, consistent, and trusted data.

• Develop and maintain Salesforce fields, objects, page layouts, SOQL, formulas, validations, Flows, approval processes, and other platform capabilities to optimize business processes.

• Design and maintain Salesforce security and access controls, including profiles, roles, sharing settings, field-level security, and permission sets.

• Evaluate and implement Salesforce AI and automation capabilities, including Agentforce, Einstein Copilot, predictive scoring, and other emerging technologies to improve productivity and intelligent automation.

• Maintain Salesforce DevOps and release processes, including continuous integration, testing, deployment, and change management using tools such as Targetprocess.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, participate in peer code reviews, and promote strong engineering, development, and governance practices.

• Maintain and modernize existing Salesforce functionality, including addressing technical debt, retiring unused functionality, and migrating legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builder automation to modern solutions such as Salesforce Flow.

• Provide Level 2/3 production support, troubleshooting, debugging, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex Salesforce and integration issues.

• Administer and support third-party applications integrated with Salesforce, including DocuSign, Cloudingo, Boomi, Salesforce CPQ, and Workflow Streams, and collaborate with vendors on system upgrades and enhancements.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for system enhancements, application code, architecture, processes, and system/user flows.

• Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and lead technical design sessions.

• Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, AI capabilities, and emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and business processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including custom solutions using Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce, and Lightning components.

• Strong proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC), with experience working with Visualforce.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, Salesforce development best practices, data models, security models, and governance limits.

• Experience designing and supporting Salesforce integrations with third-party systems using APIs and ETL/iPaaS technologies.

• Proficiency with Dell Boomi or an equivalent enterprise iPaaS/ETL platform.

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce automation, including Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.

• Experience modernizing legacy Salesforce automation and migrating Process Builder and Workflow Rules to Salesforce Flow is preferred.

• Experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, release management, testing, and deployment processes.

• Experience working in Agile development environments and participating in peer code reviews.

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across Salesforce and third-party integrations.

• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud; knowledge of Service Cloud is a plus.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and comprehensive technical documentation.

• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical design and solution discussions.

• JavaScript Developer I, Application Architect, or System Architect experience is required.

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II and CPQ Specialist certification, or equivalent experience, preferred.

• Ability to stay current with Salesforce innovations, including AI and automation capabilities, and identify opportunities to incorporate new functionality into the existing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification and/or additional Salesforce certifications.

• CPQ Specialist certification or equivalent Salesforce CPQ experience.

• Experience with Application Architect or System Architect certifications.

• Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud, Marketo, or other Salesforce ecosystem products.

• Experience with Dell Boomi or other enterprise iPaaS/integration platforms.

• Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP and financial reporting systems such as Workday.

• Experience with Salesforce AI capabilities, including Agentforce, Einstein, predictive scoring, or intelligent automation.

• Experience modernizing legacy Salesforce automation and migrating Workflow Rules or Process Builder to Salesforce Flow.

• Experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and deployment tools such as Targetprocess.

• Experience providing Level 2/3 production support in a complex Salesforce environment.

• Experience supporting third-party Salesforce applications such as DocuSign, Cloudingo, Boomi, Salesforce CPQ, and Workflow Streams.

• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical design sessions.
