About the Job:

CT Community Outreach is hiring Canvassers in New Haven, CT to canvass door-to-door. No experience is necessary — Full training is provided! We are looking for outgoing individuals, passionate about electoral politics and voting. This job ends in mid-August and is short-term.

What We Offer:

$20/hour pay
Opportunities for excellent canvassers to be brought onto other projects that come to the CT area.
Entry-level experience working in community outreach and electoral politics to prepare for future careers in the political, nonprofit, and electoral realm.
Opportunities for recommendation letters and resume references in the instance of exemplary canvass work.

What You Will Do:

Canvass door-to-door in residential neighbourhoods throughout the New Haven area.
Engage in meaningful conversation with CT residents regarding community outreach, local elections, and the needs of the community.
Work in your community while developing communication skills and a better understanding of community outreach and local elections.
Requirements:

18 years of age or older.
Smartphone needed.
Outgoing and comfortable engaging with community members.
Comfortable with door-to-door work and outdoor activity.
