This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with a renowned team of board-certified cardiologists who excel in diagnosing and treating various cardiovascular conditions. The ideal candidate will manage patient care primarily during weekdays, with some rotation for Saturday coverage, ensuring optimal health outcomes for our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, both physical and psychological, to identify potential issues.
• Analyze and interpret normal and abnormal findings from diagnostic tests, using this information to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, continuously reassessing and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve the best outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' responses to treatments and medications, ensuring to address any side effects or concerns promptly.
• Prescribe medications, including immunizations, in accordance with established guidelines and the unique needs of each patient.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with fellow healthcare providers regarding patient status, treatment plans, and care coordination, thus fostering a collaborative approach to patient health.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patients’ medical histories and any updates to their Problem/Medication lists at every encounter.
• Adhere rigorously to best practices in terms of documentation accuracy, completeness, and timeliness to maintain high-quality patient records.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• A valid Registered Nurse (RN) License issued by the State of New York.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
