Summary: The Analyst, Bulk Procurement supports dry and liquid bulk procurement activities across Odyssey's business units — including sourcing events, carrier data management, performance tracking, and market research. It's a strong entry point into procurement, with hands‑on exposure to sourcing strategy, carrier management, and data-driven decision-making. What You'll Do: Procurement & Sourcing Support execution of dry and liquid procurement strategies, including data gathering, carrier outreach, and bid coordination. Help identify network-based transportation solutions that balance cost competitiveness with service requirements. Assist with bid analysis, routing guide data entry, and award scenario summaries. Carrier Performance & Market Insight Help build and maintain relationships with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs). Track and report carrier KPIs (OTD, acceptance, cost, compliance), flagging trends and adherence issues. Gather and summarize market trend data to support pricing, planning, and budget processes. Maintain data on the long-tail carrier base to support risk reduction and performance improvement. Cross-Functional Support & Process Improvement Partner with business unit procurement and operations teams to gather requirements and provide data for solution development. Collaborate with Master Data teams on accurate routing data setup and maintenance. Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes and improve carrier engagement. Observe contract and service agreement processes, building foundational negotiation and contracting knowledge. Prepare routine reports and analysis to support Manager and Director decision-making. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and corporate governance standards. What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field; internship/co-op experience considered. Coursework or exposure to transportation procurement, sourcing, or carrier management a plus. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail; proficiency in Excel required. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams.
