WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:

Oversee daily food production and presentation by ensuring all dishes are prepared in alignment with Canyon Ranch recipes, nutritional philosophy, and established quality standards. Maintain strict compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements by enforcing proper handling, storage, and ServSafe procedures in accordance with Health Department regulations. Execute hands‑on food preparation by setting up, organizing, and maintaining assigned workstations while following proper opening and closing procedures. Support smooth kitchen operations through clear, professional communication with culinary staff and management, including participation in pre‑meal briefings and operational updates. Monitor, report, and address safety or sanitation concerns by documenting issues, correcting unsafe practices, and ensuring adherence to established kitchen protocols. Train and support both new and existing colleagues by reinforcing standards, demonstrating proper techniques, and contributing to ongoing skill development within the team. Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

1–2 years of culinary experience, ideally in a hospitality or wellness-focused environment, with the ability to execute consistent food preparation and presentation standards. Strong understanding of food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, sanitation, and ServSafe-aligned procedures in compliance with Health Department regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented kitchen while managing multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and maintaining attention to detail under pressure. Clear communication skills and professionalism when collaborating with culinary staff and management to support smooth and effective service operations. Commitment, energy, and enthusiasm for creating high-quality meals while upholding Canyon Ranch’s nutrition‑focused culinary philosophy.
