Job Position: PACKER
Location: Hodgkins,IL60525 Pay Rate: $17.00/hr Shift: 1st shift Description: Job Title: Packer - 1st Shift Location: Hodgkins, IL Pay Rate: $17 Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-Hour Shift) Schedule: Rotating schedule with every other weekend required (one weekend on, one weekend off). Position Overview We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Packers to join our production team. Candidates must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and contribute to overall production goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Inspect finished bags and products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. * Pack products into boxes or totes according to production requirements. * Verify accurate counts and proper packaging of all products. * Identify and report any defective or questionable products to supervisors. * Maintain production efficiency and minimize scrap. * Assist machine operators and support team members as needed. * Complete production and quality documentation accurately and timely. * Follow all safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company policies. * Maintain a clean and organized work area through 5S and housekeeping practices. * Learn multiple packing specifications and work at various production lines as required. * Assist with training new employees when needed. * Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications * Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or packaging experience preferred. * Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout a 12-hour shift. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Reliable attendance and punctuality are required. Physical Requirements * Ability to stand for extended periods. * Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds. * Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
