Summary The Ultrasound Technologist performs independent ultrasound procedures, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of ultrasound principles to support diagnostic imaging. Summary The Ultrasound Technologist performs independent ultrasound procedures, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of ultrasound principles to support diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities Responsibilities include conducting a variety of technical procedures with judgment and initiative, promoting teamwork, and aligning with the organization's mission and values. Qualifications Qualifications encompass completing an ARDMS-compatible education program, obtaining national certification (RDMS or equivalent), and maintaining BLS certification. Preferred experience Preferred experience includes assisting with OB procedures like CVS, PUBS, and amniocentesis, and familiarity with electronic medical records such as Epic. Key skills Key skills involve technical proficiency, independent judgment, and teamwork.
