The Part-Time HR Assistant will support the day-to-day human resources functions of the firm, working closely with firm leadership and administration. This is an ideal role for someone with HR experience who is looking for flexible, meaningful work within a creative professional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & OnboardingPost job openings and coordinate candidate communicationsSchedule interviews and manage applicant trackingPrepare offer letters and onboarding materialsFacilitate new hire orientation and first-day setupEmployee Records & ComplianceMaintain accurate and confidential employee filesTrack certifications, licenses, and continuing education requirementsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsSupport annual HR audits and policy updatesBenefits & Payroll SupportAssist with benefits enrollment and employee questionsCoordinate with payroll provider on timekeeping and changesTrack PTO, sick leave, and employee attendanceCulture & CommunicationsSupport staff training initiatives and track completionAssist in planning firm events and recognition programsServe as a confidential and approachable resource for staffGeneral AdministrationMaintain and update the employee handbookDraft HR communications and firm policiesSupport performance review processes and schedulingQualifications2+ years of HR experience; creative firm experience a plusFamiliarity with HR software (BambooHR, or similar)Experience with Deltek (Vision or Vantagepoint) a plusStrong organizational skills and discretion with confidential informationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeCompensationTBD, depending on qualifications and experienceUp to 24 hours per week | Flexible scheduling availableTo ApplyIf you feel this is a position for you, we would love to see your cover letter and resume.
