About the Position

Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 or 26 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 Years Minimum License: Valid State License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Previous experience in Electrophysiology - Ability to perform procedures such as cardiac mapping and device implants Description: Electrophysiology Tech assignment available for a duration of 13 or 26 weeks. The shift is a 4x10 schedule during the day. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Electrophysiology are preferred. Both first-time travelers and seasoned professionals are encouraged to apply. Certifications required include BLS and ACLS. Skills required include accurate monitoring, cardiac stent placement, and electrophysiology evaluation. There is a call requirement from 6 PM to 8 PM if cases run late. Candidates will typically stay until cases are finished. Most assignments rarely go late, with minimal callbacks after hours. Some Saturdays may be required as part of the scheduled shifts. All requests for time off will be considered on an individual basis. Travelers may float to similar units if needed. Candidates must be located at least 50 miles away from the facility. The facility is a Level II Trauma center, recognized for excellence in care. Unit responsibilities include working with various cardiac and interventional procedures. Specialties include diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, structural heart interventions, and neurointervention. Preferred experience with equipment such as cardiac catheterization devices and rhythm interpretation is beneficial. All healthcare compliance and documentation must be maintained throughout the assignment. Candidates must be prepared to work during major holidays as outlined in the job agreement.
