Desired Skills and Experience:
Valid Washington Special Education Teaching Certification (required)
Experience supporting diverse learners in a K-12 setting
Proven ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Strong communication skills for collaboration with families, colleagues, and staff
Creative problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic classroom settings
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, personalized instruction to students with a range of learning needs
Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and update IEPs
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and respect
Communicate consistently with parents/guardians regarding student development
Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
