Punch Machine Operator
A Punch Machine Operator sets up, programs, and operates CNC turret punch presses to cut, shape, and form metal or other materials according to blueprints and production specifications.
Core Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC turret punch press equipment.
- Select and install tooling and dies.
- Load, edit, and run CNC programs.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools.
- Perform cleaning, lubrication, and machine maintenance.
- Maintain organized workspaces and follow safety procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Manufacturing or CNC punch press experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand G-code.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials up to 50 lbs.
