Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This unit features a maximum of 343 beds. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1. The unit is equipped with various surgical and procedural equipment. Documentation is maintained through a specific system. Staff positions include unit secretaries and tech availability. The unit performs various procedures, including:

• Abdominal surgery, including complex hernia repairs
• Breast and cardiovascular surgeries
• Colon/rectal and dental procedures
• Ear, nose, and throat surgeries
• Gastroenterology procedures
• General surgeries
• Gynecological surgeries
• Joint replacements, including knee and hip
• Client-fetal surgeries
• Neurosurgery
• Ophthalmology
• Oral/maxillofacial surgeries
• Orthopedic, sports medicine, and robotics surgeries
• Pediatric surgeries
• Plastic and reconstructive surgeries
• Spine surgeries
• Thoracic procedures
• Trauma surgeries
• Urological surgeries
• Vascular surgeries

This unit is recognized as a designated trauma center. It is equipped to treat life-threatening injuries 24/7. New graduates are welcome to apply. Schedule options include 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts based on availability. The culture is friendly and team-based. Staff experience ranges from new graduates to those with over 30 years in the field.
