HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Quality for a 150+ bed hospital in California. This responsibilities of this position include providing hands-on expertise in quality surveillance and performance trending, with the ability to analyze data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Goals of the assignment will include:
- Partnering directly with frontline staff, nurse leaders, and physicians in a quality-focused role.
- Hands-on work with frontline teams analyzing and trending data, escalating opportunities or concerns, educating staff on quality metrics, and supporting improvement work at the operational level.
Requirements:
- Education: BSN degree required, MSN preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality in an acute care hospital setting. Acute care experience, particularly in perioperative and med/surg settings, would be helpful to ensure alignment with quality initiatives. Previous recent experience as a quality nurse or in a similar quality role is desired.
- Licensure: Current CA RN license required.
- Certifications: BLS through AHA required or to be completed during onboarding.
- Computer Skills: Epic
